Crater

I arrived without intention.

The first stop was a volcanic crater. A frozen surface. A cold I wanted to resist.

I took the photograph almost by accident. A single gesture, without expectation.

While adjusting the image, something shifted. Not in the landscape, but in the way I was receiving it.

I realized that vision alone is not enough.

Matter responds to light. Through light, it reveals its nature.

The image was no longer something to look at, but something to listen to.

From that moment on, I stopped defending myself from the cold. It became a companion, activating sensations I did not know how to recognize before.
